Our Founding Story

Ollang was founded by Ebru Yıldırım Gul and M. Aziz Ulak — two operators who had lived the problem firsthand.

Ebru spent years running Parlonist, a localization and interpretation firm serving Fortune 500 companies. She saw the bottlenecks up close: the time lost to tool-switching, the quality inconsistencies across vendors, the difficulty of scaling global content without losing brand integrity. Her academic foundation — a degree in translation and interpreting from Marmara University, and graduate degrees from Université d'Orléans and Paris-Sorbonne — gave her a precise understanding of what high-quality language execution actually requires.

Aziz brought the engineering vision. With a Master's in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and prior experience co-founding a fintech startup and leading Facebook Developer Circles in Istanbul, he understood how to build infrastructure that works at scale.

Together, they set out to build the platform neither of them could find: a single execution layer for multilingual, multimodal content — one that could coordinate AI models, human expertise, and enterprise workflows without the friction.
