Put your quality standards to work across more multilingual content

Your team sets the standards for the content it delivers in every target language. New controls let you use Ollang for more of that work: set subtitle styles for an account or project, refine text inside video, and retain more detail in translated documents. Your team can spend less time repeating instructions and more time reviewing the choices that need its attention.

What shipped

Three releases give your team more control over how multilingual content looks, what can be changed during review, and which details remain in translated documents.

Set subtitle styles once for an account or project

Choose the font, size, colors, position, and other subtitle settings your work requires. Review the result in Ollang before delivery, with burned-in subtitles designed to reflect the preview your team saw.

Fine-tune text inside video and deliver the version you choose

Linguists can review translated on-screen text, make a targeted change, guide AI retranslation, and choose which available version to deliver.

Localize detailed documents while preserving more of their structure

Updates for Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, DITA, and XML retain more source detail, including PowerPoint notes and media, Word fields and tabs, and a formatted DITA preview for review.

How the releases fit together

Your team can set subtitle presentation at the account or project level, make focused changes to text inside video, and retain more structure in translated documents. These controls make it easier to apply your team's quality requirements across more of the work it manages in Ollang, then review the result before delivery.

That repeatability also matters when your team sends work through an automated API integration. The aim is the same: each job should meet the standards your team has set, without someone having to recreate the quality process by hand.

What you can do now

  • Set subtitle fonts, colors, positioning, and other presentation details for an account or project.
  • Compare burned-in subtitle output with the preview your team reviewed.
  • Edit text shown inside video and select the Visual Translation version for delivery.
  • Localize supported Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, DITA, and XML files while retaining more of their source detail.
  • Make quality requirements part of a repeatable process, whether your team works in Ollang or starts jobs through an API integration.
