Shape the voice and lip-sync in your dubbed videos

A video can move from a presenter speaking to camera to voiceover across a sequence of graphics. Those moments call for different production choices. New voice and lip-sync controls let your team shape the delivery for each speaker and decide where lip-sync applies.

Give each speaker a delivery direction

Updated ElevenLabs voices are available in the Studio for supported target languages. Choose a voice for the speaker, then add a delivery instruction, such as warm or conversational, to guide how the lines are read.

The choices stay with the speaker’s settings, keeping voice selection and delivery direction together while your team works on the dubbed content.

Choose where lip-sync belongs

When the speaker is on camera

In human-reviewed dubbing, you can now turn lip-sync on or off in each segment’s voice settings. Keep it on for the presenter’s on-camera lines so their lip movements follow the dubbed speech.

When the picture cuts away

Turn lip-sync off when the camera cuts to the product walkthrough. That segment keeps its original picture while the dubbed audio continues. Your choices carry through segment splits and delivery.

How these releases fit together

Voice settings guide how a speaker sounds across the video. Segment settings let you choose where their lip movements follow the dub. A presenter can introduce a product on camera, then keep narrating as the picture cuts to a walkthrough. The same voice carries through both scenes, while lip-sync applies only to the on-camera introduction.

For the full record of product changes, see the Ollang changelog.
